Sesqui State Park Dog Park

Sesqui State Park Dog Park offers a beautiful and friendly environment for dogs and their owners, featuring wooded hiking trails and picnic facilities with barbecue grills and playground equipment for kids. The park requires dogs to be up to date on shots and tagged for entry, ensuring a safe and healthy space. It is wheelchair accessible and has well-behaved pet policies. While there is no reliable water fountain for drinking near restrooms, the park provides ample parking and a welcoming atmosphere for dog socialization and outdoor fun.

Rip off … they make you pay to walk your dog and get in … low class … you do not know until you get there! So much for taxes
Decent park with lots of wooded trails. Interstate roar can be heard in the background, so you’re not completely out in nature.
Warning: none of the rest rooms have water fountains or bottle fill stations. There’s a spigot in front of the store, but the water was bad quality even after running it for 5 mins. I found a spigot attached to the splash pad bathroom to fill up my water pouch. It’s surprising that there’s no water availability with all of the picnic facilities by the lake. I cut my hike short wasting time trying to find water on a sunny day. The store doesn’t take tap to pay so I couldn’t buy water there.
A good park requires good people and well behaved pets. It is nice to know all the pets are up to date with shots and healthy
We love the dog park almost as much as our dog Wally. The dog owners are very friendly and the dogs get along great. My dog drives me crazy if he doesn’t get to play with his friends every day. Make sure your dog is spayed or neutered and up to date on all shots before heading to the office for a tag and key.
If you plan on bringing your dogs they require documentation of vaccines to get into the park. Other than that it was a beautiful park wish we had more time to explore everything.
