Great, safe daylight walking trail.
Shade helps on these hot, hot summer days!
Opportunities for better maintenance.
Unfortunately, walkers don’t always utilize the ample trash cans!
We stayed at the Hampton Inn next to this trail. There’s a convenient access to the trail from the hotel. The trail is wide, mostly flat that meanders around a pond with several access points in and out from apartments, a senior living facility, and businesses nearby. There are picnic tables and benches scattered throughout the trail. Lots of shady areas to watch ducks and geese. There are signs everywhere to not feed the waterfowl. There’s also a small playground. We enjoyed our late afternoon walk to stretch our legs after a long drive.
Lovely trail around the pond, with plenty of access points and benches for sitting and enjoying the view. well maintained, clean and perfect for an easy stroll or quick jog. Ducks and turtles keep an eye on you.
My wife and I stayed at the Hampton that butts up against the lake. The lake was great for a morning run or stroll if you’re staying there.
Lots of ducks, geese, turtles, squirrels, and other wildlife, including plenty of babies. They don’t really seem to care that you’re there either, so you can watch them all as long as you care to. Could be a bit cleaner. Felt bad for some of the turtles who had grime on their shells.
There’s a nice little playground for kids there, too.
This place is awesome to spend some time with your friends and family. Lovely walking trail surrounding a lake with an amazing view. Lots of ducks and a cute little fountain just makes the visit even more better. The place looks heavenly especially in the fall season with the vibrant colors of the trees. It’s a treat for the eyes.
