This is a nice park, but it’s definitely the grubbiest of the Three Rivers Greenway system. It’s not big enough to get a proper long walk in, and there’s currently a bridge out, so you take a detour through the woods. There’s some fun graffiti at one point, but that end ends up at a dead end street and it’s not as pretty. Then the other way ends abruptly too. There’s some trail a bit father, but not that far.
Mostly, it’s better for picnicking and walking the dog than exercise. And my visit was colored by two dudes definitely up to something, loitering and on their phones the whole time and meeting up with people. It was pretty sketchy, whatever it was.
Been here before when you could walk a longer trail. This time the trails are blocked about .5 miles on the left side and .1 on the right. Nice restrooms and a water bottle fill station!
Love this Lil park. Full of life. My kids pretend to be explorers and find frogs and tadpoles in the creek. It’s well maintained and clean.
Nice shady park by the river. The bridge to the boardwalk is out and seems to have been that way for a while. There is a detour, but I wasn’t in the mood to see where it went.
My family and I had a great time! What a peaceful walk with beautiful sights! It was so calming with great memories made.
