If you have a real or inner child who has a special affinity with wolves, foxes, or big cats, this is a worthy destination and dedication of an entire morning or afternoon to experience. The tour is such a high value I felt compelled to donate as well just to feel less guilty about walking away with such a bargain. Not that the whole tour is a sales pitch – far from it! I loved how they focused on telling stories about the animals. It was a wonderful escape from the everyday world into a special corner of the world where wolves and other wildlife are treasured just as they are.
The couple who run the preserve are absolutely amazing. They’ve rescued every animal, fed them, given them medical treatment and a longer lifespan then most wolves in the wild. They’ve dedicated their lives to these animals, kudos!
It was more of a cry for help tour, every reason why they don’t make money for their wrong decisions and how government is screwing them for money, wolves were nice. Jim the guide was ok, I won’t go there again because we did nothing didn’t interact with animals whatsoever. Lady kept going on and on about bobcat and lynx she copied whatever she read in books. Lynx left halfway in the tour and so did we. All in all wasted NULL and much more time. Mehhhh
I love this place, so happy to see a place somewhat close to my home where I can see wolves in their natural environment thriving ! The owners are passionate about the wolves and it shows , I would definitely like to book adult tour sometime, also they have foxes , lynx and a bobcat ! Super amazing rescue. Def worth while !
Incredible experience, worth every penny. Wolves are front and center and very active easy to see. We’re even vocal, growling and howling as the played with each other. Highly recommend visiting and supporting this preserve.
