Twin Lakes Dog Park in Columbia, MO offers a friendly off-leash environment for dogs to play and socialize in a spacious, fenced area. The park provides ample seating, shaded spots for comfort, and convenient amenities like trash bins and parking to make visits pleasant for both dogs and their owners.
This is the nicest, largest, best maintained dog park I’ve ever taken Bones to! Huge spaces for dogs to run and sniff, highly recommended!
They’ve got to do something about the small dog park lake. It’s getting to be too much water leading into the “dry” large dog side of the park. Other than the defunct water park it’s a beautiful park with access to the MKT

There is a small dog specific area with its own lake.
The “all dogs” area is large with long stretches for running and fetching. There is access to a lake that creates the south “fence”. On the far side of the lake, there is an on-leash gravel trail that loops back to the parking lot.
There is a hill that leads to a wooded area that is fenced beyond the woods. Perfect for wearing out a high energy dog by throwing a ball up the hill. You can also watch the sunset from the hill with the lake in the foreground. Beautiful.
The off-season park is separated with no lake access to keep Max out of the water in the winter.
Huge! And lots of walking areas, multiple water access points for the dogs. You can fish at the park! There is trails up on the back side of the property. Both dog areas are fully fenced. And even the little dog side is BIG and had a mini lake. It’s pretty cool.
Oh my God, this park is gorgeous! There’s bike trails encompassing the greater twin lake area. Looks of pretty foliage and friendly wildlife. The turtles were very amusing to watch. I seen 30-40 people there walking their dogs and just enjoying the weather with their families. Definitely check this park out!
