Beautiful open park with a fun playground for all ages
I love this park. Great for children and adults alike!
We’ve been to lots of parks & this was a good one. Great park for little kids. Two major play structures. One for 5-12 year olds, one for younger kids. But my 6 1/2 year old & 3 1/2 year old both played on both structures. Lots of various things to climb up and across and different slides to go down. Plus a big spider like web to climb. You can see Glacier National Park from the top of the spider web! My kids liked the baby & me swing. It’s designed for a baby & grown up to swing together but my girls liked swinging together on it. There was also monkey bars and a balance beam. A great variety at this park.
Lots of grass to run in. I also like that it was fenced with a few openings, in case you have a kiddo that likes to run off on you. We took advantage of the picnic tables and had a picnic lunch. There are a few benches to sit at too. But the grass was so nice and well kept that we just sat in the grass while we watched the kids play.
My little’s fav local park. Also called “spiderweb park” for the cool rope climbing tower thing there, it has benches, picnic table for me to relax and read while I witness the fun.
Horine Park is one of the best soccer practicing areas in Columbia Falls I remember practicing soccer here back in the eighties as a kid when it was still a dust bowl and the grass was brown and dead. it’s improved a lot since then and it still named after one of our favorite coaches at the time- John horine who had miraculous recovery from cancer.
