Woodland Hills Park is a neighborhood green space tucked away in a quiet area of Colorado Springs, Colorado. This pet-friendly park features a well-kept soccer field, a small playground for children, and scenic walking trails with beautiful views of Pikes Peak. While not a dedicated dog park, it’s a wonderful spot for pet owners seeking open fields for fetch or on-leash walks in a peaceful, residential setting.
The park’s location along Woodland Hills Dr makes it an ideal choice for dog owners looking for a low-traffic escape and outdoor fun. You’ll find several benches and trash cans throughout the property, and the creek that runs nearby offers a tranquil backdrop to your visit. Please note that there is little natural shade, no water fountains or restrooms on site, and the playground is best suited for younger kids. Ample parking is available and the park is open year-round, making it a convenient and accessible spot for your next dog-friendly outing in Colorado Springs.
Playground and a nice open field. Very secluded and by the creek!
Soccer field, super small playground, baseball backstop, walking trail, half a dozen tables and benches, a few trees. No bathrooms, little shade. Decent parking.
Green well kept field and a small children’s play area. Goal posts for soccer and a few trash cans that haven’t been emptied in a while. No shade, no water, no bathrooms. Not a great place for a van lifer.
Small toddler sized slide and sand base to the play area. There’s a huge soccer field next to it too so it would be perfect for any outside activity like bocce ball, frisbee, tag, flag football, cornhole, horseshoeing, etc It’s also nice and secluded from traffic as it is buried in a quiet neighborhood with a GREAT view of pikes peak.
On woodland hills the so called park is a poor excuse of child abuse. The play ground is a piece of junk. It would be great if the city could add more enjoyable things for kids in this area. We have lived down the street for 10 years and no improvements to this park.
