Super easy to get to and very big, plus there was some water for the dogs in the park.
I absolutely love this place. I’ve been taking my dog here like twice a week for two years now. Gorgeous park, with a fantastic creek, that makes for a great casual walk.
A great place for your dog to run and for you to enjoy the 360° view of the mountains of the Rockies! The Lower Loop Dog Park is located up the hill from the parking lot. It can be found by using the map at the entrance to the walkway. It is fully fenced in, has 3 entrances, 2 trash cans, and lots of space to roam! This is a perfect place to take photos of breath taking sights! This park requires you to be able to climb up steep slopes and hills, inside and outside the dog park, so come prepared and bring water! The people and the dogs are all friendly and are here for adventure! Overall, a nice, quiet, gorgeous place to walk with your pup!
Great off leash park with short trails within the gated area. Keep in mind the trails have steep areas with loose gravel so if you have mobility issues it may be difficult to walk around. There are also some cactus in the grassy areas so keep an eye on your dogs!
A short walk uphill from the free parking lot, to the right of the bike paths is a fenced off area with a nice view of the scenery.
There were many dog owners who preferred the trails behind the dog park instead of the sectioned off zone. My dog had a blast having this park mostly to ourselves jumping off piles of dirt. The walk is very steep to the flat areas, but pet owners will certainly get a small trek out of it.
