Beautiful area with plenty of trees, basketball court, baseball fields, walking trails! Glorious views of the mountains. No little dog park. water fountains for you and your pups! Two pics included during the fall.
4 stars is a bit high, but its mainly based on being appreciative about how well its stocked/maintained (water, cleanup tools, etc). Also has a few obstacles for play and a pretty large area for dogs not to feel too crowded.
A good place to release the hounds. Took my sister-in-law’s pooch here to burn off some energy while she’s away. Never having been a dog owner myself, I was appreciative of the amenities such as the water fountain for the dogs, balls, and large play space. There were a couple of other dogs in the place yet still room to spread out and play. I’m sure we’ll be back when we need to dogsit again!
It was a worthwhile spot to tucker out an otherwise very energetic dog.
This dog park is tucked into a section of rampart park that includes some shade trees, benches and enough open space for large dogs to run freely. There are two parking lots – one dirt and the other paved. Plenty of spots from which to enjoy beautiful views of the front range and pikes peak. I once had a Colorado weasel scurry between my feet in this area. Upscale area with beautiful homes. Safe. Beautiful short paved hiking trail for a leisurely stroll.
Is a very nice area to take your dogs for a run and let them be free! The area is big enough and area of shades. They even have chairs all over and the view to the mountains is amazing!
