Discover the hidden gem of northern Colorado Springs at Fox Run Dog Park. Located amidst beautiful wooded trails, this spacious, pet-friendly off-leash area is perfect for pups who love to run, play, and explore. The park features plenty of natural shade from tall trees, picnic tables for owners, and a friendly atmosphere where both dogs and their humans feel welcome. Bring your own water for your pup, as there are bowls but no dedicated water fountains inside the dog park.
Fox Run Dog Park stands out for its dedicated small dog section as well as a large, fenced area where dogs of all sizes can mingle. The trails are ideal for dog-friendly hiking and provide a scenic place for walks, while seating and benches provide spots to relax. The park is well-maintained and has waste stations to help owners keep the area clean. With its forested setting and accessibility features including wheelchair-friendly parking, Fox Run is perfect for families and pet owners looking for a fun, safe, and shaded outdoor adventure in Colorado Springs!
This is a wonderful dog park. Every time we go, my dog has a blast. There’s a small dog section for those that do better without big dogs but small dogs are more than welcome in the large dog area. There are no water fountains in the dog park so be sure to bring your own incase the bowls are empty (and for yourself). I personally prefer this wooded dog park to any other I’ve been to. There’s plenty of space for you to hike around the park or take a seat at one of the many tables while your dog runs around. I highly recommend!
As far as dog parks go this is a hidden gem. Depending on where you are it can be a bit of a drive but it’s worth it. Dogs have been very friendly and the owners as well. Like any dog park it’s busy on the weekends but it’s large enough you can still walk away from the occasional rowdiness the dogs like to get into.
The Fox Run dog park is roomy to walk around and the trees provide great shade on hot days. We enjoy well behaved dog play time every visit! Bring water with you to fill bowls available at the park picnic tables.
Nice dog park with a lovely forest walk. Some training options for dogs, water bowls, waste bags, benches and good fences. It’s a good walk around and we spent about 45min at the park walking around every path, playing and laughing. We usually go to Bear Creek Dog Park in the south and prefer this place, but Fox Run was a nice trip. The dogs liked the shades and playing hide and seek. Cool! No restrooms.
Lovely place. I had not known about this park until my sister-in-law held an event there. It’s quiet, plenty of trees for shade, and family friendly.
