Antlers Dog Park is a refreshing new dog park in downtown Colorado Springs, Colorado, offering local pet owners a clean, pleasant space for their dogs to enjoy off-leash play. Unlike typical fenced-in sandboxes, this park features lush turf, mature trees, and plenty of natural shade, making it an inviting option year-round, especially during the hot summer months. The dog-friendly area showcases both grass and interesting surfaces like rocks and stumps, adding enrichment for adventurous pups.
This well-maintained dog park stands out with its convenient amenities: a working water fountain (seasonally available), multiple poop bag stations, trash bins for waste, and plenty of clean, open space for dogs to exercise. A separate, fully fenced area for small dogs ensures safety and comfort for pups of all sizes. Visitors rave about the peaceful ambiance, scenic surroundings, and the abundance of squirrels for dogs to watch or chase. Whether you’re looking for a shady morning retreat or space for energetic runs, Antlers Dog Park is a top choice for dog lovers in Colorado Springs.
I bring my packs here and they get plenty of exercise if we walk around the tiny big dog area.
Great area for dogs, plenty of space, fresh water, plenty of squirrels to stimulate the dogs and there is a good amount of shade
New small park, but very nice. Trees and grass surround the area. Seperate small & big dog sections.
A nice fenced areas (separate small dog area we haven’t visited), clean, poop stations w/bags & bin, water fountain for dogs (off for the winter to prevent freezing), shady, turf, rocks & stumps to add interest to surface. We’ve been several times & there haven’t been very many other dogs there; sometimes none. Still have fun run, run, running!
The new Antlers dog park is a great place for the pups to run around. Unlike other dog parks I’ve been to in the Springs, it’s not just a fenced in sandbox. There’s “grass” and trees. And a working water fountain so no bringing in water jugs. In the morning it’s almost completely in the shade, which is a great thing for the hot summer months. And there are trees everywhere. Everything looks really pretty. And I love that there’s a separate section for the little dogs. We will definitely be back.
