The trail could use a little care, lots of broken wood, it has been a rainy season

I really love this little park, it’s a short boardwalk loop that’s great for strollers and little kids. That being said the boardwalk itself is definitely in need of repair, and is covered in rot and moss which can make for a slippery walk. Mosquito season leaves this trail unwalkable, so be wary of going in the warmer months. All in all it’s definitely worth the trip.

Lovely little stroll in the HEART of Colonie…it’s quite peaceful, it quote literally I believe just simply goes in a sort of loop around a wooded area, however there are a few additional entrances you could come from, though when I go with my friends we typically enter from the Sand Creek Rd entrance. Really a good quiet place if you’d like to find somewhere to meditate , there is a bench at on of the entrances sort of on the other side opposite Sand Creek Rd basically, near a complex sorta. We’ve sat there specifically to meditate at times. DO WATCH YOUR STEP THOUGH, HAHA! Town of Colonie or someone must be doing upkeep continually on the trail/track because the boardwalk going around the whole of the stroll consistently has new planks laid on areas that needed to be patched, though I am just saying there are some that they simply just won’t always be able to get to right away so again, mind your feet!!
