Great dog park with some agility equipment. Two fenced in areas one for big dogs and one for small dogs. Ample parking

Very nice well kept dog park. Has various play equipment and separate small and large dog sides. Grass surface. The dog park at the SPCA has some sort of packed surface and the one at the Smith River Sports Complex is wooded. So if you want your dog to run around on grass this is the place. I was impressed.

It’s located in the field behind the old YMCA. There is a Boys and Girls Club there now, and you use their parking lot. There are no fees associated with using the park.
There are water fountains for pets, trash cans as well as bags for picking up eliminations. There are 4 benches to sit on, 2 of which are covered by a large umbrella for shade. Just before you reach the area for the dogs, there is a covered shelter with a few tables for enjoying a picnic.
The right side is for dogs 30lbs and under. And the left side is for 30lbs and over.

I wish I had taken more photos, but my pups were very eager to have me finish so they could go and play.

I went on Easter 2025. There is an area for large dogs and another for small. A lot of grass. There are water fountains as well. It seems like the gates are always open. Each area is about 1/4 of a football field.

The YMCA Collinville Dog Park is AWESOME! Kudos to everyone that uses it for keeping it clean and picking up after their pets. There are various “obstacle” areas if you have that kind of dog, or just lots of space to run if you have dogs like mine. Often you’ll find that other people have left different items for your dogs to use, like toys, frisbees, etc. Just a lovely atmosphere, clean, and friendly. I’d recommend this park for all the furbabies in your life.
