The campground is absolutely beautiful with many larger fish ponds. The owners takes great care of the property and keeps it clean and safe for everyone to enjoy. Our cabin was nice, simply decorated and comfortable with a great water view. Benny, the general manager was very friendly and funny. He gave us a tour of the large property and introduced us to some locals “the goats”
The resident’s are welcoming and so helpful. The staff makes sure everyone is having a good time. I loved the golf cart crawl that gave everyone time to mingle and get to know people you hadn’t met yet.
The pool area is very nice and there are plenty of lounge chairs and the small restaurant serves some delicious country dishes at a reasonable price. The barn bar was fantastic and we danced till they turned the lights on and kicked everyone out,
We highly recommend this place if your single or are a couple.

We’ve spent the past three years returning to the Hideaway, and each visit has been a genuine pleasure. The atmosphere is welcoming—guests and residents alike are friendly, and the staff consistently go above and beyond with their professionalism and helpfulness.

We’ve had the chance to stay in both Paradise and Moonlight House for week-long getaways, and each offered a cozy, comfortable retreat. The entire campground is beautifully maintained, with a wide range of activities that make it easy to stay entertained or simply unwind.

This fall, we’re heading back for the much-anticipated Murder Mystery Weekend—and we can’t wait to join in the fun.

I’ll start by saying the staff and residents are extremely friendly. I didn’t see any tent sites during my stay. The room was okay very clean but small. No microwave or mini fridge, just a coffee machine. I was surprised that they had no outdoor washing stations so if you bring a barbecue or plates and utensils be expected to take them home and wash them .The grounds and showers were very clean. This campground has a different vibe from all the others. If you’re looking for under 60 this is not the place. There was no activities or special events during the weekend. As far as the cafe, the food was good but pricey for a small amount. Being I was there for a weekend I was expecting breakfast which was never an option. The menus were the same all fried or microwaved foods. Like I said this place has a very different vibe, and if it wasn’t for my friends with me I would have gone home.

First time camping at Hideaway and had a great stay. They keep the campground and it’s restrooms very clean. The staff were very nice. Cafe had great food. The pool area was beautiful with it’s surrounding plants. All the people we met were nice there. Will be going back….
