Knight Park is a beloved green space located at the heart of Collingswood, NJ, that offers dog owners and families a welcoming destination for outdoor fun. This dog-friendly park features spacious areas perfect for walking your dog or enjoying a picnic under the trees, all with wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking. The park is known for its vibrant community events, play areas for kids of all ages, a baseball field, and a variety of shaded picnic spots, making it a great spot for both pet-friendly outings and family celebrations.
While Knight Park does not feature a designated off-leash dog area or fenced section for pets, leashed dogs are welcome throughout the park. The park stands out for its accessibility, beautiful scenery, and amenities like restrooms and picnic tables. Whether you’re seeking dog-friendly trails in Collingswood, NJ, or a relaxing spot near downtown to bring your pup, Knight Park is a local favorite for both humans and their four-legged companions.
The gazebo rental was awesome. Birthdays, balloon release, baby showers, or for any other outdoor events I would be highly recommended.
It’s a cute park, but the town is letting it fall to crap. I would say at least 1/3 of the equipment needs urgent maintenance or outright replacement. Also, nobody comes and empties the trash. The cans are in a consistent state of overflow, with trash on the ground constantly.
I love how the playground is divided into separate types of equipment for a variety and age ranges and abilities. The part for babies is in the obvious middle, with two swing sets; one for smaller kiddos and one for bigger kiddos. The castle theme is very well appropriate for the park’s name, even if it’s named for the Knight family.
They also have equipment and communication aid for disabled kiddos. My daughter has a ball reading the communication signs, and was a teachable moment about nonverbal people.
It’s a nice spot to relax walk around and also to go fishing 🎣
Best place to take the kids. It’s a beautiful park and close to the schools and downtown shopping area. The community always has something going on there. During the year they hold many parades around the triangle. Definitely suggest going, it’s large enough to let the little ones run wild.
