The Skippack Creek Trail runs basically from the Germantown Pike to the Skippack Pike, following along the creek and back again. Shown in pictures below: The trail entrance from the Pines parking area in the main section of the park (photo 1). Entrance near the park office (photo 2). Entrance off Kratz Road (photo 3). Entrance off Water Street Road. There’s a sizable parking lot here. (photo 4).

It’s just a trailhead with parking, a community board and a porta-potty. This is not a playground, there is hunting permitted, the trails are not paved. It’s great if that’s what you’re looking for.

I love this trail. It is so beautiful down by the creek. So many trees had fallen over onto the trail when I was there the other day. We felt safe the whole time and every family should visit this place.

It was a bit muggy but a great day for a hike. I like the Skippack loop, but I admit I don’t loop. I keep going and walk to the park office and then on down leasher road for the way back.

I’ve walked nearly every inch of trail in this park. This section is perfect for dog walking after work.
