Me and my sister frequently go up the hills to picnic during sunset and take pictures. The playground slides are really wet during summer because kids like to dump water on it. Most of the times the restrooms are closed for some reason. There are friendly dogs in the baseball area after 7 pm. Overall, great park

Nice park to jog, sit on a bench, have a picnic or take kids to play.

Beautiful park surrounded by the ocean and close up views of the Whitestone bridge and LGA.

1 full court for basketball, 1 water fountain and 1 playground. Not as big as Alley Pond and Kissena but the surrounding ocean makes up for it.

1 baseball field.

Also, parking is available but you will have to look for it as there is nearby residences

No dedicated dog run but you will see dogs here

Also
No fishing is allowed, that I’m aware of

Great park on a peninsula jutting into the Sound with close views of LaGuardia airport. It is a site of the former Chisholm mansion and estate, acquired by NYC in 1930 to become a public park. Street parking only, but it wasn’t an issue on summer weekend morning (park is popular, so better to come early). Restrooms were open and clean, lots of fishermen along the esplanade, busy playground.
Good combination of green space, meadow, paved woods trail and walk with water views. Packs plenty of features for relatively small acreage.
