This is the best location to access the Red Cedar River in Colfax. There is a concrete ramp with plenty of parking and restrooms.

Park is outdated and can be rough in the winter to get down to but it’s not crowed and right on the river

Really nice parks awesome for fishing just make sure if you use the trails leading to that cove to use a topwater because the area does have a quite of snags.

AKA Dr felland park. One of many stops on the colfax red cedar tubing experience. pretty big area for picnicking and fishing. There is a boat landing but it’s kind of small. Definitely check it out before trying to land a boat there.

Brian Harms

Nice park with an open shelter. Plenty of room and picnic tables. The boat launch is fair to good. No blacktop, park is all gravel roads and boat launch. Great place to relax and enjoy the river!
