You would of never guessed this was out here. Self guided was 30.00 for both of us and lots of love in this place. There was a bat house couple of sleeping foxes. Was excited see the Giant anteaters and the bearcats. Will be back with grandkids.
Absolutely love coming here! The grandkids enjoy the visits! The folks who work here are the best, for their hearts are full of passion and love in taking care of all the wonderful animals. Highly recommend visiting Animal Ed.ventures! They do welcome donations of items, including blankets and towels, as the colder months are moving in!
We decided to take the kids here for a day out. We purchased tickets on Groupon which is a smart thing to do. The staff was very friendly. It wasn’t quite what we thought it was going to be but the kids enjoyed it. Too many bugs and things for me I’m not an outdoorsy person Some of the animals we got to see were really beautiful. It took us about 40 minutes to do the whole thing.
Honest review: If you want to visit a zoo with lots of animals and prefers cookie cutter cages, this is not for you. Go somewhere else.
This place is nature driven, little compact, both like a farm and you can see some animals on the move outside with them you can interact, helpful & compassionate & knowledgeable staff who can guide you.
There are two toes sloths, nocturnal building (go find what is in there), giant ant eater, pheasants, a camel. These are some highlights. But then there are other wildlife you cannot miss and this place is so natural. If you accept nature, you will love this place for what it offers. My daughter totally enjoyed her time here. Can’t wait to be back.
I absolutely love this place. It’s so naturally beautiful. The place isn’t trying to hide how nature actually is how much work it takes to care for these animals. I went there once as a visitor came back a week later as a volunteer and will be going back to do more volunteer work. If you have a genuine love for animals and want to understand how places like this exist and can keep their doors open. Volunteer and you’ll see both sides.
