Located on Cambridge Ave, Coalinga Dog Park is a straightforward destination for dog owners looking for a place to let their pets run free in Coalinga, California. The park is wheelchair accessible with both an accessible entrance and parking area, making it friendly to all dog lovers. Dogs are allowed off-leash within the fenced area, providing a safe environment for pets to get some exercise, especially for local apartment dwellers seeking an open space.
While the park is basic—it features a fenced dirt patch with running water for dogs—it may lack the amenities and green space seen at larger parks. There are no benches, shade trees, or designated small or large dog sections, but its proximity to residential areas provides convenient outdoor access for your furry friends. Please note that hours may not always be posted, and the park might sometimes be closed during the day.
It’s the closest dog park to where I just moved, but wasn’t open when we went in the middle of the day. It’s nothing great, a small patch of fenced dirt, but would give my dog a place to run since I live in an apartment. I wish they would post the hours.
Worst dog park in california. It’s got running watter and a fence. No grass, trees, or benches. It’s just a hard dirt dry field.
“Park” is generous.
