Poor design choice and placement. Whoever works for Clyde that decided to put this park here wasn’t the brightest. The park sits along a bend in the river and it’s flat in every direction. Good place to sit in the sand but you can’t call this place a park by any means. It’s a sandbar.

This park is on the Pigon River and every time it rains hard the river rises and wipes out the park with mud and debris. The town of Clyde can’t afford to fix it every time so it remains trashed and the gates are closed. We still take our dog down there to run around and we take trash bags and pick up the debris. It’s just in the wrong place.

Park is closed. Looks like maybe the river took out most of it. Being rebuilt. Right now it’s just a bunch of sand and a algae filled river bank. Walked with dogs anyway. Got 1000steps total. Very small.

Beautiful bend in the river. Nice place for a picnic with seating for big groups. Rock climbing walls for kids with adult supervision. Beautiful place to walk a dog.
