Carden Farm Dog Park is a favorite destination for dog lovers in Clinton, Tennessee, offering spacious, well-maintained grounds with separate areas for small and large dogs. The park is especially popular among locals for its thoughtful, double-gated fenced design that ensures dogs of any size can safely play off-leash, as well as pet-friendly walking and hiking trails located both inside and outside the dog park boundaries. For added convenience, the wheelchair accessible park has ample parking, covered shelter areas, and benches for owners to relax.
What sets Carden Farm Dog Park apart are its welcoming amenities: agility equipment for play and training, a dog swimming area with easy access, and convenient rest spots featuring water, poop bags, and trash bins. The park also features shade and picnic tables, making it comfortable for families and their pets to spend the day. Regular events, such as the annual “Paws for a Cause” festival, add to its vibrant, community-oriented atmosphere.
We took our 4 Yorkies for some run free time and they had a super time! The park for dogs is outstanding the way it’s built, the safety gates and fences are perfect for even the smallest dogs! Our girls had a great time, things to walk on and through plenty of rest places, water, bags for poo and garbage cans! There is a swimming area made for easy access! All the other dogs we encountered were very friendly and had a great time with ours! We will definitely go here more often, loved it!!!
We took our Bella first time today. She had so much fun! We loved it! Our Bella is small so we really appreciated the fenced off area that separated the small and large dogs. It was a very nice clean area. Would highly recommend to anyone for their furbabies!
Positive: Great dog park! It’s nice that you can walk with the dogs within the fenced area. On the grass there are roofed areas where humans can sit. There are also toys and great agility options to train your dog. Depending on the time you are there, you are alone or with a few other people.
Negative: It’s only relatively clean. Even though there are poop bags at several spots around the park, you have to look down when going on the grass since there are feces here and there. I saw two ladies with large dogs who weren’t cleaning after their dogs – acting as if they didn’t see them pooping. If YOU are one of the people not cleaning after their dogs: YOU are ruining it for everyone!
Also not all dogs are well behaved. But I didn’t experience dangerous situations.
This is a super nice park! There are also walking trails inside and outside of the dog parks (one for large dogs and one side for small) the also have a dog wash station that you can give your pup a bath!!
I love this park. It is huge w/ a gravel walking trail inside (with a few outside w/ views).
It has some shade for super hot days & is normally crowded around 5-8 pm on weekdays.
It also has an annual dog park festival that is super fun & for a good cause: “Paws for a Cause”
I like taking my dog traveling & this is by far the best dog park I’ve been to.
Make sure to bring water or a water bowl for your dog cause they will be wiped out!
