Nice Campground, very nice location. It’s next-door to the museum of the Appalachia. They appear to be the same business, but they are not! They are literally feet away from each other.The RV spots are really close like most places, You know, trying to squeeze every last dime, they can get out of more people crammed in there!I’m not really a fan of that, but there are several really good spots available where your neighbor is literally not right in your face. The manager is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and these people do everything in their power to make your stay at their campground good. The people that answer the phones are extremely nice as well. However… The museum of the Appalachia next-door ( feet away )does not like dogs! Me and my little 8 pound Malti-Poo were walking around the gravel road. We went through the front and around there was absolutely no signage saying no dogs or anything like that. My dog is trained and does not bark or anything like that. We were just walking peacefully taking pictures of the old buildings. Some woman with the museum came out and made a little bit of a scene over me having my dog over there. It was a little embarrassing because there was other people around, but again there was no signage saying anything about dogs not being allowed. But my thoughts are if my dogs not allowed to walk around the gravel road. I’ve paid NULL a night to stay at then my money is not welcome there either. So I walked back to my motorhome. Expressed my concern with the manager, again he is a great guy and was very apologetic and I left! They need to understand if they’re gonna have a campground that close they either need to post it that dogs are not welcome or be OK with a dog walking on a leash down and gravel road. I would say 95% of people who RV camp have a dog of some sort. This is gonna hurt this Campground in the end! I did get a refund, which was no problem. However, their little museum with the old buildings and the little restaurant that’s only open for lunch is not worth the money. I just don’t really know about this place? Their intentions are good, but it’s not what they think it is! My understanding is the museum and the RV campground are owned by different people, but it looks and appears like it’s one big operation.
One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. We travel with our special needs (cannot walk or stand) daughter. And the large bathroom with toilet, sink and handicap accessible shower was great with ample room for a shower chair.The water pressure is very great and caused a leak in our camper, so I would highly recommend you have a pressure regulator.
Wonderful campground near many day trip attractions. The lots are spacious and the bathhouse and laundry room are top notch. I would highly recommend Appalachia Ridge for your next stay.
Lovely new & well maintained campground. Close off/on from highway but not too close (nice and quiet). Our site was a back-in concrete site – and was surprisingly wide and long for big rigs…… But wow nice. Wish we could stay longer … Just traveling through. Will be back.
This is a great, new RV resort and perfect for long-term or overnight stays. Easy access from I-75, they have done a really nice job building the resort. Don’t miss the entrance turn; it’s the same driveway as the Appalachia Museum.When booking online, it automatically added a NULL “Carefree” service fee. That allows reservation changes, etc. We didn’t need that so called and they graciously removed the fee.We will definitely stay here again.
We had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the spacious sites—plenty of room for our rig, slide-outs, and even some outdoor lounging without feeling crowded. It’s refreshing to find a campground that truly caters to larger RVs and still maintains a peaceful, uncrowded atmosphere.The entire campground was spotless (despite it not being completely done). You can tell the staff really care about keeping everything well-maintained—from the clean restrooms and showers to the tidy grounds and trash areas. It made the whole experience that much more comfortable and enjoyable.Service was also top-notch. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always available if we had questions or needed anything before and during the time there. It felt like they genuinely wanted us to have a great stay—and we did!This is now one of our favorite stops, and we’ll definitely be back when we pass through. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and well-run RV park.
There is a small parking area. There is trail access on either side of the bridge. The lower side access has a private property sign but has handwritten exceptions for people walking or biking to the trail. On the uphill side there is a guardrail. At the end of the guardrail is a short rocky path down to the trail.The trail is dirt and gravel, and is used for motorized off-road touring. Not recommended for road bikes.
Beautiful trail with easy access across the covered bridge! Park in front of Bath Library and walk over!
The Bath covered bridge and Bath Falls are just two highlights of this lovely trail. The river is really pretty, and you can see mountain views as well.
