Its the Big off leash park I’ve been looking for. Tucked away behind the Aquatic center.
A little tricky to find, this dog park is large and open. There is no separation for large/small dogs, but there are 3 covered benches, a water fountain and bags available. In early May there was a good stand of freshly mowed grass and no bares spots except by the 2 small trees. If there were separate sections for large/small dogs I’d give it 5 stars. To get there, follow signs to Katy trailhead, then keep going past the big community center and aquatic center. Turn at the sign for the skate park and go past the playground to the back of the big building. The dog park is immediately adjacent to the skate park.
