FAQ for North Clearwater Dog Beach in Clearwater Florida:
Beautiful and clean stretch of beach. We visited on a weekday around noon and my 🐾baby girl🐾 was the only dog on the beach. There were plenty of adults sunning and strolling but it was pleasantly quiet and peaceful which was fabulous for my girl’s first experience with sand and saltwater! The not so great = parking. The closest to beach access for this dog-friendly section is a couple blocks south which can make for a long & hot-on-the-paws walk to the water.
The north end gets you away from the traffic and noise of the main beach, so if you want something laid back this is your beach! Beautiful sugar sand beach that’s postcard perfect, and you can bring your dog and walk the sand. I go here for sunsets and it never disappoints. The boardwalk a little further north is pretty cool and that’s where I took the video. Enjoy!
Looking for a beautiful sunset with your pupNULL This is the place! Park right at the edge of town and walk right up. Between the White Powder Sand and Crystal Clear Water it’s picture perfect! We went on a weeknight and it cost ?.30 per hour to park. The beach was not crowded and plenty of parking to go around.
We booked a weekend stay at one of Airbnbs, not realizing it was a dog beach🤦♀️There were plenty of dogs that would bark in the morning and wake me up. Now I understand why😂Despite this fact, the beach was super clean and not too crowded.
Quiet, beautiful, nice beach, not too crowded, dogs welcomed, and wasn’t too crazy! Walked the dogs up and down for about a mile, they enjoyed the water and breeze! Will defiantly come back again! Water felt nice too, all dogs we came across were very trained! Parking available prior to the north beach sign.
