Did great on my English bulldog ( bath and nail trim)but my Pomeranian went in for a haircut and they claimed that he wouldn’t sit still so they couldn’t give him one so now I have to pay someone else to cut his fur. It’s been done before but they claimed they couldn’t do it

Clayton Pet Hotel is wonderful! My son lives in the Englewood area & used them whenever they go on vacation. So, I thought that I would use them also for my senior shih tzu, Bella. What a great decision! Bella was there for 14 days & nights. She received excellent care! I had a knee replacement & went to rehab after surgery. Whenever I’d call to ask how she was, the employee would go check on her & tell me what she was doing! It’s the little extra things, that take customer service from just ok, to wonderful!! I will be using them again for a cruise in Oct. Having a clean & sweet smelling dog come home to me was the icing on the cake!! The previous dog kennel didn’t offer that service, I had to pay extra for a bath. Clayton Pet Hotel is extraordinary. The employees, the clean facility & the “above & beyond” loving care that is lavished on all of the animals is so appreciated!!

TAKE CAUTION IF YOUR PET IS ON MEDICATION!!! I boarded my dog here from 8-9 June 2025. I gave them her medication with instructions to give it to her the morning of the 9th, as she had already been given her dose for the 8th. When I went to pick her up at or about 1539 (charged for another day since it was after 1200), I was told by the staff I talked to (there were 3) that my dog had not been given her meds at all, with no answer as to why. I asked if someone could call me with an answer. I gave her the dose as soon as I got her in my truck. Mike called and left a VM saying she did in fact get her dose that morning. When I called back to inform him that I just double dosed my dog with Prozac based on their misinformation, all he basically had to say was “sorry “ and “better call your vet.” If you are considering patronizing this business, please take this incident into consideration. For all they know a double dose could have killed her, and with certain other medications, it could in fact have. It’s a shame because I was a regular customer and this location is very convenient for me. However, I think this was a pretty close call. Add the apparent lack of concern by the management, and I can no longer, with any good conscience, trust this facility with my dog.

We go to Clayton Pet Hotel & Spa to have Amanda groom our Maltipoo, Millie. She does a terrific job! This place is so friendly and professional!
