Clayton Dog Park is a spacious, nearly 2-acre private dog park located within Anderson Park, just off Clayton Road west of Brentwood Blvd. To ensure a safe and exclusive experience, access is restricted to members only—a code is required to enter, and memberships can be obtained at the Center of Clayton (50 Gay Rd). While the membership requirement may be a surprise to some, regular visitors benefit from a well-maintained, secure area for their dogs to play off-leash.
Amenities at Clayton Dog Park include a fully fenced area, several benches (some offering shade from umbrellas), water hydrants for pups, and a small pool where dogs can cool off. The park allows dogs to roam freely off-leash within its boundaries, making it an enjoyable spot for exercise and socialization. There are no restrooms available at Anderson Park, and agility equipment is not present, but seating and water options are available for your convenience. If you’re searching for a private, well-kept dog park in Clayton, Missouri, this membership-based option is worth considering for local dog owners.

I really wish I had known this was a private dog park before I ventured half an hour off our road trip route to give my dogs an exercise break. I don’t understand how multiple dog parks in this city are marked as members only but this one isn’t. It’s unnecessarily deceptive

Absolute shit that you need memberships for dog parks in the first place. Would have been nice to know you need one for this one as it does not specify that online

On a roadtrip with our family & we just wanted to let our boy play after being in the car for 4 hours. This park is close to our hotel, so we stopped before checking in. No where in the Google listing does it mention that you need a key. Ended up with him back on a leash for just a regular walk. If it isn’t a public access park then don’t call it one & let people waste their time.
