Beautiful. I had way too much fun taking these pictures 😎
great trails for a family hike. While out I seen frogs, birds, deer, a busy beaver and more. its a blessing to have this land saved for all to enjoy. Thank you DAVID R. RAMSDELL for your gift.
Has nice wide trails so you can walk next to your loved ones, dog friendly. Great place to collect wild flowers. I also love foraging here as mowing isn’t to frequent right now we found strawberries all over, there are chives, grapes, blackberries, autumn olive and many nut bearing trees. This year I collected rose hips as well. We used grapes and poke berries do make a dye base, they are in the freezer to stay good as we collect other things to make just basic water dyes with. At the end of fall we will be making nature tyedye.
I highly suggest this as an educational spot to learn with your children. Be prepared for miles of walking, small steep hills and few muddy areas but well kept easy trails.
I would really love to see more sitting spots, if I am able to rest I may be able to do more of the trail. Also a big one is maps and trail markers. It would be nice to plan routes and be able to locate them. I have been going for years and I have got lost back there walking in circles before which has stopped me from going in the back to much where there is a lot of direct sun.
Nice area to have a walk. There’s a pond and plenty of trails that are mowed.
I hesitate to remark online about this park because it’s such a hidden gem.. please respect this place!! It’s so beautiful. We were married here before God & all our comrades. For free! Talk about a free date idea. 😉😂 trails are beautiful. Wildlife is ample. Foraging is always extreme. And there’s never anyone here !!! My favorite place in Lenawee county
