Great place to exercise our puppy.

The first few times we came there was no water in the dogs water basin and inside the tank there was a bunch of green moss. Today when we arrived the tank was clean and fresh water was available. The grass has always been short and nicely mowed. I am concerned though. The fence near the red garbage container, by the woods, appears to be poison ivy growing. It would be nice to have this removed. Every time we have come there has been plenty of poop bags which I appreciate.

Great little dog park! Only one area for dogs and you have to walk along a sports field. Great if you need to stop through and let your dog get some energy out. Doggy bags and trash cans available as well as dog water in the back corner.

It’s a small fenced in area. Unfortunately there aren’t many dogs that tend to visit, so if you’re looking to socialize your dog I would find somewhere else. They have obstacles and water for your dog. Sometimes they have sports games on the field right by the park.

There aren’t many dog park options in the area, so I’m thankful to the Rabun County Recreation Department for this convenient location for my dog to play. My dog loves this park. She gets so excited when she sees that we are pulling in. It is in a shady area. Parking is nearby, plentiful, and free. The dog park has never been busy. It’s been nice when there has been a dog or two for mine to play with, but she is also happy to be alone with the space to run and play with no leash on.
