My partner and I came to Steamboat Springs for her birthday weekend and could not have picked a better place to stay. The ranch is picturesque inside and out; a spacious, clean bedroom, living room and bathroom with a gorgeous view of Hahn’s Peak across the expansive valley.
Olympia and Robbie were among the best hosts we’ve had to date, adding lovely personal touches when they found out it was Caney’s birthday, making sure we had everything we needed, and even helping us get our car out of the snow with our wheels spinning. We absolutely plan on coming back and recommending it to anyone looking for a ranch getaway with plenty to do around Steamboat.
If you interested in a training retreat or a weekend getaway in the mountains, the Woof Ranch is the place to go. There are beautiful hikes, lakes, and outdoor recreation within minutes from the house. Both the Summer and Winter times, the Woof Ranch is the best altitude training center in Colorado! At 8,000ft I can swim, bike, run, and go to the gym inside the house or right out the front door. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Robbie and Olympia are great hosts and made sure I had a great stay. I will be back soon!
I want to start off by saying the hosts absolutely made this trip. Olympia and Robby are so sweet and accommodating! The ranch is in a gorgeous location, offering a plethora of activities in the quaint town of Clark. Go for a hike up Han’s Peak, swim of kayak in the surrounding lake, go horseback riding around the high planes, ride the scenic roads on bike and discover the nature of Colorado. I highly recommend The Woof Ranch for a scenic getaway.
Private Dreamy Location with Great Mountains View – My wife and I celebrated our 35th Wedding Anniversary at the Woof Ranch. The host, Olympia, was great and very helpful directing us the best hiking trails, best scenery to drive, and places to eat while in Clark. Her daily homemade granola and homemade bread was welcomed and delicious every morning.
