Perfect area, the little creek is cold and cute. All the grass around the area is damp, like springs are just under the surface. Surprised how many actually take the time to stop in. Has an outdoor water pump, with good fresh cold water. It is worth the stop, only down fall is no trash cans, and no restrooms.
Very nice park along side S. Clare Ave. No facilities for restrooms or trash cans. Small bridge with creek running through it. Big enough for children to run around. Nice place for your furry animal too. Dogs have to be on leash. There are 5 or 6 picnic table. There are downhill a bit from the parking in the grassy area. No wheelchair accessible to the picnic table 🚫♿
Absolutely beautiful place to come and clear your head
Nice place to stop and stretch or picnic. Theres an old pitcher pump too. I can just imagine how necessary this stop was to travelers 80yrs ago. Also maintained by Cops and Doughnuts-thank you.
Nice little park. Used to enjoy playing here when traveling. It’s been here for decades, prior to the freeway. There used to be two bridges over the creek (Middle Branch Tobacco River).
