Woodland Mound

Playgrounds look new and fun, one looks more like an obstacle course. Went there this time for disc golf. Course was a bit busy after 6:30p for a weekday, we had several in our group, kept pace pretty well, but still let 3 groups go ahead as we had 5-6 in our group. Below is review of course itself.
Reminds me of a compact Devou park, with rolling hills replaced by small gulley/creek areas. Made me feel good about latest solo practice time. Can feel a lot more confident with a brighter disk on some of the hole. I like throwing over small ravines with multiple with a mix of difficulty getting by trees in the ravines. Quite a bit of up & downs, but not bad, great to test your handle of elevation change courses as you’re back around the start midway through if you need to stop or only want to play back 9 without long walk to 10.
We love this playground! Clean, no craziness. They have a disc golf course it’s fun I’ve played on it before. They have a bike/walking trail even to walk dogs on . Kids water park view of the lake picnic areas. Much more I haven’t discovered
Took my Wife and Kids to the Wet Playground and my sister and her husband and their daughter joined us.
My sister and I used to go there as kids and so it was awesome to get an opportunity to share those memories with kids of our own and our spouses!
Great and affordable pricing for families that want a “splash-tastic” summer without breaking the bank to go to these mega water parks.

Woodland Mound park is a great place to visit. There are several hiking trails In woods, meadow terrain, etc. There’s a pond. There are several covered shelter areas with picnic tables. There is a seasonal kid’s splash pad water playground. They have a frisbee disc course.
The nature center is three storys tall with viewing observation decks of the Ohio River. The nature center has a gift shop and many books and resources for any nature questions. The nature center offers binoculars and comfortable chairs to bird watch too. There are amazing child friendly learn and play areas on all three floors too. They have animals to view as well including a bunny, snake, spider, and turtle.
They have guided hikes and other programs throughout the year listed on the website for Great Parks of Hamilton County, Ohio. An annual parking pass is required and can be purchased in the gift shop, online, or at the entrance stands.
There are restroom facilities throughout the park. Many playground areas and an exercise equipment outdoor area.
This is a great area, very quiet, peaceful and beautiful with plenty to explore for any age and mobility level.
