This park is so spacious. This is my very first visit and I loved it.
Beautiful park with gravel walking paths. On the A trail about to the .5 mark is a bridge with a trail down to the creek. There are plenty of benches on the trails to sit and relax. The playground fun for the kids too.
Next to the middle school and their athletic fields, so traffic and parking and noise may be an issue for you if those are in use when you visit.
The restrooms were closed, so just a heads up.
Awesome little park with some great maintained trails
Such a lovely park! It was clean with shady seating and perfect for the kids. The paths were nice too.

Story Woods Park may not be the most famous park in town, but it’s definitely worth a visit. Situated in a charming neighborhood, this park boasts 3 different trails that you can loop together to make a longer walk. The paved trail is well maintained and perfect for a leisurely stroll, while the nature trail offers more of a challenge with its tough terrain and disrepair. One of the highlights of the park is the incredible view of Rapid Run High School that you get from the nature trail. The imposing building looms over the surrounding area, making you feel like a mere speck in comparison. It’s truly an awe-inspiring sight to behold.
