Can I just say wow! A great crowd of people and dogs. We were very nervous leading up to this as this was our first experience with our 2 female goldens getting to meet a large crowd of dogs after there spaying. At first our girls started barking the usual dog response. A very nice lady whom I forgot to ask her name greeted us and helped reassure us to just let them roam. I have to say we had an AMAZING time seeing our girls react so well to others and everyone. We also tried their food which was outstanding. We couldn’t have been more pleased with our visit.
Hands dog the best dog park. My boyfriend and I took our two one year old golden’s to RJ Waggs Park for their first dog park experience. Will be near impossible to top this one! A dog pond for throwing toys and letting the dogs cool down, a large grassy area for dogs to roam and play, a sand volleyball court for dog owners (and maybe dogs? Definitely will be in awe if that happens), a fenced in playground for kids who may be intimidated by dogs, shaded benches, amazing food next door, and some amazing drink choices! There were also some friendly dog owners made our time more enjoyable, not to mention our cuddling dogs enjoyed the people.
Our first time going and our dog had a blast. The woman working the front desk was so polite and showed us different packages if we wanted to become more frequent members of the facility. There was no pressure at all though to pay for anything extra. We paid 15$ for one visit and it was well worth it. There is food and a full bar along with soda and water – and staff was cleaning the water with a skimmer. I saw a review say the water was dirty but I saw no issues with it. They also do dog birthday parties. All the dogs there were very friendly and owners were good about picking up after their dog. We will 100% be returning back.
This is our new favorite place! We’ve been three times this season already and can’t wait for many more trips this summer. Beautifully maintained park with fresh water that seems clean and safe unlike other dog pools we have been to. There is an area of sand and a large grass play area as well! We also love the bar and food available for humans. There’s even a dog washing station for after playing! Perfect place to spend a summer afternoon and couldn’t recommend it more.
We had my pups 1st birthday here and it was the best evening ever! Katie was so accommodating and kind. They closed the park to freshen it up and re-clean for us. Our pups had so much fun!
