I came here to hike. The maps and trail markers could be improved. It was difficult for me to follow the map, but luckily it’s not a huge park so I didn’t go too far out of the way.

This is a great park for hiking, disc golf, picnicing, or just hanging out with friends. The park is about 1500 acres.

They have a nice 18 hole disc golf course (let me know if you find my orange frisbee). There is also The Treehouse, a structure with trees growing up through the middle. Also has an Arboretum helping to identify trees, this could use a little work, or maybe it was because I visited on a late fall day.

Again a great park that I will visit often.

October 15th – April 15th the family BBQ/picnic area is closed to motor vehicles and is a great time for walks. Like most of SW Ohio, honeysuckle has really encroached onto the trails, but a lovely patron has taken it upon himself to start the long process of clearing it out. Thank you, and you know who you are, big-J!

I really like this park. It of course gets pretty busy sometimes but there are a few different areas depending on what you are going for. We have had 2 baby showers here at the shelter twords the bottom of the park where it circles around. There are some nice trails and a big tree house that the kids always think it’s pretty neat. We didn’t maternity pics around there for my daughter when she was pregnant with her first and they turned out beautifully. We haven’t went to the play area because it is usually pretty packed there a lot of times but there is a play area across from where the tree house is and there is another side where you can grill or walk around. There is frisbee toss on that side as well

Mt. Airy forest is by far one of the best parks in the area for walking, hiking, and biking. A vast selection of trails that you could spend an entire day exploring and still not find all of it. Beautiful views, scenery, and well kept trails. The spring and autumn are especially gorgeous at this park and spending a day at the lake is amazing
