It is family-friendly with kid-friendly hikes and good amenities such as clean bathrooms and well-paved parking. Visitors enjoy the natural setting, although there are occasional challenges with wildlife interactions.

Signs need to be put up by the parking lot that says no fishing. Not on the other side of the pond. Boys went fishing and didn’t even make it over there yet to see the signs. But a woman came to feed the birds and tell us there is no fishing but there was plenty of signs that said don’t feed the birds.
Someone is killing swan, killing baby geese and stealing baby ducks! Man with 2 kids came and he let the kids throw sticks and rocks at the swan. A man in a geese control van comes up there and scares the geese and ducks away! (I’m sure that’s why the Mandarin duck disappeared) a duck was dead in the middle of the road, same spot he chases the geese out at (into the busy road) There was a mom and baby goose that were part of the duck family and the geese patrol guy chased them away as well. Can we just leave the animals alone already!?
Great place to walk your dog with a paved path and a beautiful pond with swans and ducks. Only drawback is the geese who leave their “marks” along the pathway near the pond. Always breezy,!
I sort of disagree with calling this a park, but the bathroom was clean and the parking lot is well paved. I think the most park part of this park is the PARKing lot.
I enjoy visiting the pond at the park to see geese & duck families with two beautiful swans.
