Went to Winton woods on a Sunday afternoon in early June for a bike ride and to scope out a shelter we are renting later in August. Plenty of safe parking and very clean. We ride on the path around the lake and to the shelters 2x which was about 9.4 miles. The path is easy with minor inclines and enough declines to keep it fun and relaxing. This was a great park to spend time in and numerous dog walkers and families were out and about. Fishing and boat rentals were in full swing near the marina.
Lauren Hake was amazing! She walked me through the entire process for renting a shelter; she EVEN helped me find a vendor for my daughter’s birthday party.
Customer Service was amazing – I will be using great parks again for any upcoming events I may have.
Thank you Lauren.
I enjoyed it. There were so few people there that I didn’t have to wear a mask….we could stay 6′ apart.
It was a beautiful day.
We had our wedding here….beautiful and quiet very professional and not bad priced
My friend who brought me kayaking says the input to the lake used to be a lot nicer and looked like most of it had washed away, there was very little room to launch from and made landing difficult for. I hope y’all are able to refresh that part soon as it makes launching and landing very difficult.
But otherwise, it’s absolutely gorgeous there! It was a great place to be a newbie on the water! It looked like a great place for families since there were a bunch on the main dock and shored areas. I can’t wait to go back. Honestly 5 stars.
