Fleischmann Gardens is a scenic, dog-friendly park located in the heart of Avondale in Cincinnati, Ohio. This urban oasis boasts beautiful trees, grassy lawns, paved walking paths, and a welcoming atmosphere for families and pet owners alike. The park is entirely enclosed by a fence, making it safe for dogs and children, while the ample seating and well-maintained green spaces offer a relaxing spot to unwind or play.
Pet owners will appreciate the easy access to paved paths, shady spots under mature trees, and numerous benches (though primarily clustered in certain parts of the park). The park includes a playground for kids, is wheelchair accessible, and is known for its clean and mellow vibes, despite occasional trash issues due to overflowing bins. Fleischmann Gardens stands out as a hidden gem perfect for dog walkers and anyone seeking pet-friendly trails within Cincinnati.
The park is nice. It’s pretty well maintained (not perfect, but good), there’s not a lot of trash, and there’s plenty places to sit.
I rode my bike there and brought a mat so I could lay on the grass and read my book, so it was overall pretty relaxing 😌
Good-sized park for being in an urban area with paved walking paths, grassy areas, trees, a playground, & benches. Very kid-friendly & dog-friendly. Enclosed by a fence all the way around the park with openings for public entrance.
I love this park! It’s well maintained, and the trees are so beautiful.
The one drawback is that all of the benches (of which there are many) are clustered in 1/3 of the park, rather than spread evenly throughout. I imagine it would be especially nice to have a couple of benches near the playground equipment so that parents and caregivers can watch their kids more comfortably. Also there is only one table, would love to have a few more tables.
It’s a decent park.. would be a good place to come if it wasn’t for all the trash littered everywhere… but since every trash can is way overflowing I guess the ground is the where it goes
A beautiful hidden gem in the center of the community of Avondale. Nice scenery to break away from the hot summer days. I just wish they had more trash cans and benches like the other park favorites in the city.
