Fernbank Park
Fernbank Park is a scenic riverside park with excellent views of the Ohio River, featuring a large, fenced playground area suitable for children and family outings. It offers wheelchair accessible entrances and parking, clean restrooms (seasonal portalet in winter), picnic facilities, barbecue grills, and well-maintained walking paths. The park hosts events at the Fernbank Lodge and is popular for peaceful river walks with plenty of space and parking.

I read the reviews thinking this park would have alot of fishing opportunities so I went to see for myself. When I arrived there was only one place to go and the space were limited because of trash. I would like to try again and give it a better review but I do not know my way around the park for fishing if anyone knows better spots please let me know.
This was our first time here. We will be back. The entire park was clean. The walking paths were very nice and there was plenty of space for people to pass each other. There was plenty of parking and the rest rooms were clean. Excellent views of the Ohio River as well.
Lodge is nice place for events. Walking trails and river views make the experience
We used the Fernbank Lodge for a celebration of life and it was very nice. I had so many people compliment me on the location and how clean everything was. I’d highly recommend this facility for any celebration that you might have in mind.
My family loves this park. The river views are so refreshing after a long day. We love watching the barges embark down the Ohio River. It’s so peaceful. You can walk right down to the river’s edge and watch the waves as boats speed by. The playground is very large with a fence around it. A mom could easily sit and relax knowing her kids are safe inside. The bathrooms are closed during the winter but they have a convenient portalet which was conveniently clean. There were tons of dogs with owners on leashes.
