I take my sweet energetic dog, Lily, here while I’m at work and she loves it. She loves the employees and I love watching her through the webcams while I can! The staff is super polite and helpful when I have questions. They informed me right away anytime they noticed something different about Lily. Honestly just really appreciate everyone who works here. This place is also great for getting energy out too for your dog and great if you have a social dog!

Our dog was staying at this location for his 3rd time. We left him for 7 hours. About 15 minutes after picking him up at 11 PM, we discovered this gash (pictured) on his head. It required 3 staples.
We received no notice after it happened from Dogtown employees. We called the morning after, and spoke with a manager. She said he had been interacting with another dog and the dog snapped and created this gash. She said the employee who witnessed it had sent it to the employee group chat. We were not informed at any time and spent all night trying to find a pet hospital with capacity to get him in.
They did not offer any sort of rectification beyond a dry apology.
We will never trust them with our dog again.
We would not advise anyone else to do so.

The cleanliness of this location is simply not good. My dog came home every day after daycare smelling horrible. I understand slobbery dogs stink, but he came home wreaking of pee each time we took him. To the point where I had to get my vehicle professionally cleaned to get the smell out of my car seats. We’ve explored other options and found much more satisfactory places.

I contemplated giving this review but I feel it necessary because this was unacceptable behavior and it had me very upset when I left. On Friday April 11th I picked up my 5 month old puppy. When the girl went to the small dog area to get my puppy she kept yelling my pups name and saying come on, so loud that I could hear her in the standing area of the lobby. She seemed very agitated as I was watching all this on the monitor hanging behind the counter. He sensed her agitation and he peed on the floor. She snagged him by the collar and pretty much dragged him across the other play area, into the area behind the counter. Mind you this was my pups 4th visit so he’s still pretty new to the place and he’s only 5 months old.
So as she open the door to bring him into the area behind the counter she said in a very snippy tone ”I wasn’t picking him up because he pees all over.” She then proceeded to open the half door and just let my puppy run straight out to the front lobby door. That caught me completely off guard as I didnt think that was Dogtown’s protocol to do. Thankfully nobody was coming in or out because he would have darted straight out the door. I kneeled down to hold onto him as she made her way to get his harness and leash and whe she came back she just threw it on the floor next to me. My puppy and I were treated poorly that day and it made me feel extremely uncomfortable, so much so that I will not be returning back there ever again with my pup. I’m extremely saddened about this situation as it was close to my place of work and very convenient for my husband and I to take our dog. But I just cannot trust this place anymore. Please everyone, watch those cameras while your dog is there !!!
