This is my favorite park nearby. It has great playgrounds, picnic shelters, beach volleyball courts, a walking trail around the field, and even a creek to visit (just watch out for mosquitoes in the summer). There’s plenty of parking, but there’s speed bumps between parking lots since they’ve had issues with cars speeding through. If you park in the big lots at either entrance and exit out the same way you came in, you can avoid them. The park is relatively clean and never too crowded. I recommend it.

Not too crowded. Good for walking. Walking trails are good. Paved, flat main loop, and more rustic trail at far end is peaceful change of pace. It’s my local go to.
