Westwood Dog Park in Cincinnati, OH is a small, well-maintained urban dog park perfect for local residents seeking a clean, convenient off-leash space. The park features a unique blend of paved and artificial grass areas, ensuring your dog stays clean and mud-free even after rain. A large shade tree provides relief on hot days, and the facility is friendly for both kids and adults, with a playground right next door and several benches for relaxing.
Westwood Dog Park stands out for its accessibility—offering wheelchair-accessible paths and nearby parking—making it inclusive for all Cincinnati dog owners. Owners appreciate the double-gated entrance for extra safety, provided poop bags, and consistently clean grounds. While water access can be inconsistent and parking is a bit tight, the park’s cozy setup, artificial turf, and shaded spots make it a top choice for a quick, convenient dog outing in Westwood.
The park is cozy and set up very well. I like that it has a paved area and artificial grass areas because after it rains I know my dog isn’t going to get all muddy.
The only down side is the people who don’t pick up after their pets. So rude and disrespectful.
Small but good when wet or raining. Parking is tight, water is located outside the park and doesn’t always work.
Clean, lots of room. Several benches and places to sit. There is a water source there and doggie poop bags. And there is a nice double gate for escapees lol. About 1/2 of it is under a very large tree which provides shade. I like to bring work there or just coffee and donuts in the morning or my dinner in the evening.
It’s smaller than a lot of backyards, but since I don’t have a yard at all, it’s great. It’s pavement and astroturf, so it’s never muddy. There’s a playground right next door for the kids, it’s reasonably clean, and the people and dogs I’ve encountered have been nice.
Great little park! Well kept, safe. It is small but it’s very close to me so it’s great when weather isn’t great for larger grass parks. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I didn’t see any water for the dogs.
