If you’re searching for an outstanding dog park in Christiansburg, Virginia, look no further than the Dog Parks at Christiansburg Huckleberry Park. This modern, thoughtfully designed park features artificial turf throughout, ensuring a clean, mud-free play environment for your canine companions—no matter the weather. The clean turf also makes it easy for pet owners to spot and clean up after their dogs. Multiple park visitors rave about the fun and safety this park offers, praising the overall cleanliness and maintenance, as well as the thoughtful amenities.
One of the unique aspects is the separate, fully fenced compounds for large (over 35 lbs) and small (under 35 lbs) dogs—these areas do not share a fence, giving peace of mind to owners of timid or smaller breeds. There are numerous water stations, free poop bags, and ample seating including benches and tables for owners to relax. Parking is available, although it can be limited during busy periods. Additionally, the park features toys and even a small pool for dogs that love to splash around, making it a must-visit for pet lovers in the New River Valley and beyond!
Best dog park I’ve been to ever!! Great place lots of room pool for your dog and water Bowls. It’s got fake grass and the place is awesome
Cute little park! Parking was an issue but all in all a good experience.
Just came back here the last 2 days. In between rain… Heavy rainz. The artifical turf is so perfect for the dogs. Took Arizona a few hard slips to get used to it, but it is perfect.
Unbelievably incredible dog park. I’ve never been to one like this. The turf grass is a great idea, the dogs love it and you can easily see anything they drop. The two sides are split and don’t share a fence so there isn’t much contact between them which is great if you have a small dog who is easily scared by larger dogs. They’ve got water, bags, and toys scattered around to use. Lots of seating and parking for humans. Way better than surrounding dog parks.
Great dog park. One area for dogs over 35lbs. & one area for dogs under 35 lbs. Secure compound. Benches & tables. Water spigots. Poop bags.
