This is the perfect spot for the southern tip of the state. The room was everything we needed from the wine glasses for our sunset toast to the super comfortable mattresses. The hosts are very hands on and the cleaning staff is friendly and thorough. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone coming to Chokoluskee.
I first went to see who could actually write a poor review for this place and as I suspected pretty much Karen Syndrome. Parkway Motel & Marina is like childhood happiness where one leaves the reality of our first world problems and stumbles forward into bliss. No Fears. No Cares. We”ll leave the light on for ya type place. Thanks crew for a moment in time that is motivating me to continue to seek. We had a wonderful stay at Parkway Motel and Marina! The beds were very comfortable, the grounds were perfect for walking our dogs, and everything was exceptionally clean. The staff was so friendly and accommodating — we would absolutely love to stay here again!
Okay, spoiler alert!! This is a 2 star motel in the old Florida tradition….but Laura Lynn is a ROCKSTAR!!! This place is CLEAN!!! You have access to the water front little area and this feels like a slice right out of the distant past!!There really ain’t no room service, but these 5 stars relate to:1. Clean clean rooms2. Laura Lynn has you ready to go by the time you step foot inside the room, even explaining the finicky keys.3. You may rethink your palatial home hanging out with these folks in their high rise mobile homes and welcoming attitudes!
The Wife and I stayed in the Smallwood Cottage,Very cool historic cottage right on the corner across from the Marina.Old Florida at its best! Very comfortable and clean with all the basics you need for cooking, or try one of the Local restaurants,Aaron and Dave are the best Host’s you could ever ask for !Awesome Chill spot, great fishingThey “Hooked” us up with a local Charter Captain for a great morning of fishing, Aaron even took us out on his boat for a sunset tour,Don’t hesitate on this one! Cool fishing town with Awesome laid back people!Parkway Motel and Marina is the place to stay !
