I played a round of disc golf at Sullivan Park and had a great time. Got an Ace in hole 6.

The course itself is a really nice blend of wooded fairways and more open shots, so it keeps you on your toes without ever feeling repetitive. Some of the holes play through rolling hills, which add both challenge and fun — I enjoyed having to adjust for elevation instead of just throwing flat the whole way.

Navigation was mostly straightforward. A couple of the transitions between holes were a little longer than expected, but nothing too confusing once I checked the UDisc map. The signage on the tees helps a lot, and baskets were in solid shape.

What I appreciated most was the balance.
It’s somewhat of a beginner-friendly course for casual players but still offers enough shot variety and distance to keep it interesting for more experienced throwers. There are some tight wooded lines that reward accuracy, and then you step out into open space and can really let a disc rip.

The park itself adds a lot to the experience. It’s clean, well-kept, and quiet enough that you can really enjoy the round. Having the trails and family areas nearby gives it a relaxed, community feel. I saw people walking dogs, kids on the playground, and other groups just enjoying the park, which made the atmosphere welcoming.

Overall, I left really impressed. The course offers a fun, accessible round in a beautiful setting, and I’ll definitely be coming back. It’s a great spot whether you’re just looking for a casual round with friends or want to get in some focused practice on a well-designed layout.

I absolutely love this park and disc golf course, at Sullivan Park! The cleanliness of the park is bar none! Multiple groundskeepers are on site and consistently working hard to keep this park nice for everyone! 🙂 The activities include: multiple playgrounds and pavilions, paddle ball and tennis ball courts, 18 hole disc golf course, multiple bathrooms, baseball field and a basketball court. There’s fishing allowed in a small lake, and there’s streams that flow throughout the entire park, all of which are very clean. There’s a couple bathroom facilities that are very clean and have adequate room for anyone. The 18-hole disc golf course is well thought out and designed perfectly. It consists of a mix of wooded areas and wide open spaces. The fairways are all very clean and the out of bounds areas have very little brush, so that you can find your lost disc if you’re that type of player like I am lol 🙂 I would say there’s enough parking for multiple tractor trailers lol but to be realistic, I would say close to 100 cars or maybe more. There are multiple running, walking and hiking trails throughout the property. You will not be disappointed by all the niceties this park has to offer! 😎 Get out and check it out!!!!!
