Chisago City Dog Park is a small, welcoming dog park ideal for small dogs with a separate area for pups. The park is wheelchair accessible and located near a children’s play area, making it family-friendly. Visitors appreciate the shaded spots, seating, and good parking. However, there are no water fountains or swim areas, and the park can get buggy and muddy at times. Poop pickup outside the fence seems to be an issue, and mosquito presence can be bothersome. Overall, it offers a pleasant spot for dogs and their owners in a convenient location.

The location is ideal. I enjoy taking my pup to dog parks, but the misquotes and amount of dirt at this particular park were a no go for me. We tried to go at different times of the day. Less mosquitoes mid morning.

I did like that they was good parking, a nearby Porter potty and picnic tables near a small play area.

Little muddy in spring. But appears to be a great place to run the hound.
The adjacent park is a great place for the littles to run out some energy.
Or sleep in a swing of course.

Nice shaded area, with a spot you can get some sun too. There’s a separate section for small dogs/pups too. My dog loves any dog park but I think this one could use a water source or at least some bowls. And I suggest bringing big spray because it can definitely get buggy with all the trees and bushes! Also nice because of the park in the same lot for kids.

I enjoy the sog park and the company at the dog park! Never had a problem! The only downside is nobody picks up the poop outside the fence.

I meet a friend here occasionally so our dogs can play together in a neutral location. It’s common sense to bring bug spray for you and water for your dogs. I do feel really bad for the locals who have to listen to dogs barking as early as 6am and late as 10pm. The park is rather small, but I have small dogs so it’s fine for our needs. But such a rapidly growing dog friendly area needs to find a bigger location that won’t disturb the neighbors.
