We scheduled a kayaking trip with our kids on a late August afternoon. It was very windy and the owners recommended that we switch to pontoon cruise instead. It was a good call and a very nice trip. The Captain knew just where to go.

Great place to stay and great boat tour! Captain John is the best guide and really know the area. Barbara has the sweetest most clean and comfortable cottages. Was a wonderful experience overall. Would recommend to all.

What a wonderful place- family owned and operated. Clean- has a beach vibe with palm trees and sand. No Bs. Basic little cabin- was helpful to have a stove and oven- shower could be nicer but it’s totally worth the stay as it was clean and close to everything. Having boat access and kayaks were easy to book and take out. We loved our stay we added an extra day. It’s the only accommodation across from the marshes where horses hang out- we could see them from there. 10 min from a beautiful beach. Our boat tour was great! We will definitely be coming back in the future- it’s a perfect get away place For a small family. Thank you snug! We are so happy we found you!

Captain John came highly recommended for a small boat tour, and they were not wrong! We liked the very small group experience (6 people on our tour, boat looks like 8 or 10 would be the max). We went to a couple of places where all the boats were going to look for ponies, and a couple of places where it was just us and people fishing. We converted several different ecological niches, increasing it changes of seeing different wildlife.

Just the perfect place to stay AND kayak/boat in Chincoteague! We stayed two nights, took the sunset cruise, and rented kayaks. The cabins have everything you need and are really cozy. They’re very private and quiet—we didn’t hear anything from the road or anyone around us, which surprised me! You’re right on the water so we got to sit out on the chairs they have for sunrise and sunset. Family owned and run, and you can really tell that they care.

We’ll be back for sure and I can’t wait!
