The park features beautiful natural surroundings, offering ample opportunities for hiking, kayaking, fishing, and disc golf. Dog owners will appreciate the pet-friendly trails meandering around the wooded areas, babbling brook, and lake shoreline. There’s plenty of shade from mature trees, open fields for play, shaded pavilions for relaxing, as well as picnic areas with grills. Whether you’re interested in walking, playing by the water, or spending a weekend in one of their charming cabins, Lake Corriher provides an ideal setting for both dogs and their humans.
Great place to come to. Right by my house. I always drive my scooter there with my small doggie (Shitzu). I also recently rented a cabin there and loved it. Felt like a whole different city I was at!
Beautiful place to spend a weekend. Cabins are wonderful and affordable. Plenty of places to fish on both lakes.
Great place for anything outdoors. Trail walking, bring your dogs, go fishing, there is a store to purchase items at. Frisbee golf, rc cars and little cabins to rent. Picnic area with grills. Very nice spot for a afternoon or morning visit.
This is a beautiful park tucked away right next to the town! My only complaint was that it was very difficult to find the park office when I was looking for information on the park.
The first pond is pretty, but the lake further back is even better. It has a beautiful floating walkway, with a shaded pavilion in the middle where you can sit or fish. There is also a beautiful babbling brook that meanders its way through the park. In addition, there are fields next to the wooded areas where people can play sports.
Kayaking is NULL/hr, with a 2 hr. minimum. I think that’s very reasonable and would love to try it sometime! Disc golf is only NULL, but you have to put down a deposit of NULL in case you don’t bring the discs back. The disc golf course is really fun, though it’s a little hard to understand the route.
The park’s well-maintained trails are ideal for a relaxing hike, and the serene lake is great for kayaking and paddle boating. For those who love fishing, the lake provides a quiet and scenic spot to cast a line. The amenities, including the option to rent kayaks and other equipment, make it easy to enjoy a variety of activities.
