Located at 3940 S Indiana Ave, the Bronzeville Dog Park is a clean, well-maintained, and conveniently-situated dog park in Chicago’s historic Bronzeville neighborhood. Designed for both local pet owners and visitors, this park features separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, making it a secure place for pups of all sizes to run and play off-leash. The park provides easy parking in the evenings and weekends, and is just steps from the Green Line for those using public transportation.
This dog-friendly spot is loved for its generous space, cleanliness, and dedicated water fountains for both humans and dogs (although fountains are occasionally out of service). Owners will also find poop bag dispensers and trash bins onsite, helping keep the park tidy. Most visitors find the park pleasant, never too overcrowded even during peak evening or weekend hours. Whether you’re seeking a fenced space for your dog to exercise or a welcoming pet-friendly area on Chicago’s Southside, Bronzeville Dog Park stands out as a neighborhood asset!
Great new neighborhood dog park. There’s large/small dog areas, tons of space for the dogs to run around and chase balls, and drinking fountains for humans and dogs alike.
Parking is easy in the evenings or weekends, but harder during work days. I think a lot of people park there and take the train downtown because there’s a Green Line stop right there.
There tends to be more people at the park in the evening with the after work crowd and on the weekends. I haven’t been there when it’s been too busy though, which is nice.

Nice park. It supplies you with poop bags, garbages, dog/puppy water fountain ⛲, a gate that separates the big dogs from the small ones, both sides has fountains and it’s nice and clean but not very wide, it’s long in size.

I take my dogs here at least 3 time a week. I like that is fence off into a larger and small dog. What I don’t like is there NOTHING to really do but run. I hope someone else comes to the park with their dog so my dog really get some exercise. After all 4 leg are better than 2 in a dog park.

Clean and well-lit. There are separate sides for small and large dogs. They also have water fountains (human and dog) on each side, but they don’t work right now.
