Perfect for small dogs, large dogs, families, kids, runners, walkers, strollers, wheelchairs! They have a permanently installed chessboard table and seats for those who like checkers or chess. There is a paved mile-long track along the park that is great for runners, walkers, wheelchairs and strollers. There are two separate fenced dog areas, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. The two dog areas both have shaded pavilions with seating, water fountains for the dogs, and dog training obstacle courses, plenty of grass and trees. Huge area to let the dogs run around off leash.
Lots of grass, very clean, doggie bags readily available. Oddly, noticed on multiple occasions that owners with big dogs (40+ lbs) were over in the small dog area. Sadly, always at least one owner oblivious to their dog leaving a pile behind for somebody to step in. Great park though and room to grow.
In the absence of google search and maps, you’d never know it was there. Been a dozen times at least and never a bad experience except for the D’bag owners that don’t pick up after their dogs.
We have only had positive experiences thus far! I bring my corgi regularly and he loves it. I do wish that there were more obstacles/enrichment opportunities there.
Wow! Huge dog park with water and paths to walk.
We had a great time with our 3 large dogs.
Watch out for the older heavy set man with the small snarly dog. The dog was not supervised and kept attacking the fence trying to fight with our boxers. After repeated attempts to diffuse the situation on our own, we had to leave due to this angry dog.
Hopefully the next visit will be better.
